On June 3, Peter and Sue spent the day wandering Venice on foot. The city was
beautiful and the crowds light. Both the streets and the canals were cleaner
than Sue remembered from a visit in the 1980's. The tides were below the
sidewalks (floods mostly occur in the winter) and the temperature was a hot,
humid 31 C (88 F). |
